The Sumitomo RDK-408C2 cold head is mounted in Philips 4K magnets. Works with cryocompressors Sumitomo CSW-71D, F-50HC. The adsorbers in the CSW-71D cryocompressor are subject to scheduled replacement every 20 thousand hours of operation (28 months), F-50HC – every 30 thousand hours of operation (41 months), or when replacing the cold head to prevent contamination of the cryogenic system.
